How does data (state assessment) drive your daily instruction? How does the school utilize data to improve in the areas of Math or Reading?
Through my observations and discussions, it is my assumption that the schools I visited did have assessments but the results weren't utilize like the PUSD uses results. Pinon Elementary School uses data for a number of things such as creating RTI groups or helping us develop individualized plans for students. The results gives the teachers a snapshot of how a student is performing and his/her weaknesses and strengths.

- I think this is a good question. The only data I heard about was the test given at different points.
- Administrators uses data but teachers don't see it.
- This seems to be such as focus in the US and becoming more of a focus in Colombia.
- It wasn't really discussed which is interesting because in the US, I feel like data/assessment is so emphasized.
